| Soft Roll Cake |
1. Sieve flour, vanilla powder, and baking powder.
2. Stir the egg yolk, add sugar (A), starch syrup, and salt, and stir until it turns ivory.
3. Mix the egg whites with sugar (B) three times to make meringue.
4. Add 1/2 of the meringue to the dough of step 2 and mix lightly.
5. Add flour, vanilla powder, and baking powder to the dough of step 4 and mix lightly.
6. Add cooking oil, mix evenly, and add 1/2 meringue.
7. Place paper on a baking pan, pour the dough, and spread the top evenly with a scrapper.
8. Mix the dough and caramel pigment and squeeze it 2 cm wide on the surface of the dough.
9. Make a pattern with chopsticks.
10. Bake in the oven at 170 degrees above and 170 degrees below for 20 to 25 minutes.
11. After baking, spray the paper with water and remove it.
12. Put the wet cotton cloth on the workbench, apply jam, and roll it in a circle with a rolling pin.
